Yacht Policies

Physical Loss or Damage- Hull coverage is "agreed value' on total losses and replacement cost (with no depreciation) on most partial losses, subject to a deductible.

Liability- Covers the insured's liability for property damage and bodily injury. Pollution, clean up and containment coverage is also available.

Medical Payments- Pays for reasonable medical expenses resulting from injuries sustained by the yacht owner, guest or family members while on, boarding or leaving the yacht.

Uninsured Boater Coverage- Covers damages resulting from bodily caused by an uninsured owner or operator of another vessel.

Personal Property Coverage- Personal property belonging to a yacht owner and his/her family is covered, with optional protection available for guests and volunteer crew.

Towing and Assistance- Emergency coverage in the event of a breakdown or disablement while underway

Vessel Trailer Coverage- Provides coverage for loss or damage to the vessel's trailer, subject to a deductible.

Classic Boats & Yachts

Tailored Protection especially designed for Your Classic Boat- Available for wooden boats and other classic designs.

Some benefits include: • The valuation of property is based on "new for old", except for specifically listed items which are subject to depreciation.
• No depreciation on upholstery sails or sail covers for up to 5 years.
• Liability Coverage is provided for loss of life, bodily injury and property damage to third parties, with limits available to meet an individual's needs. This includes the use of non-owned yachts under specified circumstances.
• Trailerable boats, less than 27 feet, are covered anywhere in the United States and Canada.
• Coverage during restoration or construction is available.
• Uninsured Boater Coverage is included, equal to the Liability Coverage, along with Medical Payments Coverage on a per person basis.
• Hurricane Haul-Out Coverage is automatically included.
• Boat Show and Demonstration Coverage is provided.
• Personal Property Coverage is included to protect your personal effects and those belonging to your onboard guests.
• Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation ACT (LHWCA) Coverage is included when Liability Coverage is purchased.
• Commercial Towing & Assistance Coverage, including boat trailer roadside service, is included in case of emergency.
• Wreck Removal Expense is also covered.
• Coverage for accidental oil/fuel discharge clean up is provided.
